Frame 1
John is working hard on an assignment that is due the next following day, (17th December, Wednesday).

Frame 2
A blackout has occurred!
John grabs hair in agony, as his assignment has not been saved.


Frame 3
John searches for a torch in the dark and managed to find it in a drawer.


Frame 4
John approaches the main switch.
To his surprise, he saw a post-it note which prompted him to “Turn back!”.
John’s girlfriend, Mary, pops out from the kitchen and appeared before William with a birthday cake. SURPRISE!

John appeared unimpressed and angry at the same time.

Frame 7
Mary was bewildered and felt unappreciated.


Frame 8
From the personal diary, John’s birthday has already passed. It was supposed to be on the 15th December, Monday. Mary has remembered the wrong date!
To add on to his anger, he has to do his assignment all over again!

Ok... this is last minute... in fact... past last minute... my unfinished product!

Ok, here comes ASSIGNMENT 2!!

I had a lot problems trying to work this piece of Assignment out.. like a lot...

At first, I thought there were 2 parts to the assignment. So I actually completed the "Classical Guitar" abstraction thinking I was halfway through, then I realised I misunderstood the lecturer. I was supposed to take a picture and "abstract" it into a "sign" to be placed somewhere in the campus.

As I worked through the 2nd part of the assignment (Assignment 2) yesterday night, I made yet another blunder. I overwrote the trace of the photograph by accident and that was 2 hrs of hard work *flushed* down the drain. Nonetheless, after re-tracing the photograph, I was excited all over again and worked through the various levels of abstraction.

And... here it is...

"Spark-ling" an Idea... Level 5...

This is my first attempt at Abstraction.

And the object used is non other than....

The Classical Guitar
